Gary and I first met at the 70th anniversary of PINK'S HOT DOG STAND on La
Brea and Melrose, where Gary and his lovely Family were enjoying the
festivities.
I told him Miles and I were big fans of his morning show. Being a major
Rolling Stones fan himself, he invited me to be a featured guest.
They created a segment called "YOU NEVER KNOW WHO'S LISTENING" and I was
their guest. Miles joined me and we had a blast with Gary,
(entertainment reporter) Lisa Stanley , Timmy the cabana boy (their
engineer) and their amazing producer Samantha Stander. We spent 2 hours
talking about some of my touring experiences (posted below) and concluded
with a
video blog, available for viewing in the
Morning Show video widget (also posted below).

player/backing vocalist Gabe Rudner talked about the upcoming Rod Stewart
tour I'm going to be working on this coming Summer beginning in Dubai.
We will travel throughout the UK, also visiting Moscow, Tel Aviv, Budapest,
Vienna, Berlin and more.
We'll be
promoting Rod's latest CD "Soul Book" as well as performing his many classic
hits! My new
friends at K Earth 101 have been truly amazing in their support of my return
to road with the awesome Rod Stewart!
I'm delighted to be able to share my work with

Right now singer Lorelei McBroom is touring Europe with legendary artist Rod
Stewart. Currently they are in New Castle getting ready for a show, but
before they hit the stage she called our show.Lorelei weighed in on a variety of topics such as, what it’s like to
work with a legend, the clothes she gets to wear on stage, and what her
favorite songs to sing are. We here on the morning show could not be happier
for her success, and hope she checks in with us really soon.

Our pal
Lorelei McBroom is currently in Manchester England touring with rock legend
Rod Stewart. Before
touring with Rod, she used to tour with the Rolling Stones, so we had to ask
what was Keith like, what was Mick like, and what are some of the
differences touring with these rock legends . Also with Rod’s status as a
sex symbol we wondered if women ever throw anything subjective up on stage.
She said she’s seen them throw everything from bra’s to teddy bears,
and hats. Next up Lorelei will be in London, continuing the tour. All of
us at KRTH could not be more proud of your success, and can’t wait to hear
from you real soon.
Our third interview with Lorelei McBroom and Morning
show host Gary Bryan, took place after a glorious stint at the O2 arena
in London. It was a week of the industry's hottest stars! The legendary
Rock 'N Soul artist Rod Stewart played 3 nights, and will return by
popular demand in late July.

minutes and gave a tremendous

During my last
"On The Road With Rod Stewart"
interview, I mentioned the photos Rod showed the
audience before we
sang "Hot Legs". Our tour was during and after the Soccer
this summer's fervor surrounding the World Cup.
I referred to the phallus cover (penis
sheath) pictured here as African, but I later learned these tribal men are
from New Guinea in Indonesia .
Congratulations to Stasia and everyone at the High
Desert Medical Group in Lancaster, our Office Of The Day! Earlier this
morning we sent over coffee and bagels from Western bagels for a well
deserved break. As always our pal Antonio came by to play some songs while
everyone ate. We hope you guys enjoyed your break today, and hopefully this
will make your week go by a little faster.

200,000 people.
The show was televised live on European television and
ended in a
display of fireworks!

These
2 videos for "Dogs of War" and "On the Turning Away" were recorded
during the first series of concerts Lorelei, Durga and Roberta did with Pink Floyd
at the Omni Coliseum in Atlanta Georgia, 1987. These videos were made during the concerts
Lorelei spoke about during the video interview, where they
reviewed the songs during sound check, and then performed and video taped
that evening. Macon Taylor and Rachel Fury were the singers they joined to
enhance the live video.

Lorelei
then performed with Pink Floyd in LA and was asked to join the world tour. Due
to prior contractual commitments to Capitol Records, she recommended the band take
her sister Durga, who came through with flying colors, performing
triumphantly. Lorelei and Durga reunited with the Floyd
to
tour Europe in 1989 Moscow and Venice were highlights of that tour.

The following year Lorelei toured with The Rolling Stones, and put
touring on hold after the birth of her son
Miles Litteral in 1993.
Durga McBroom become Pink Floyd's most consistent backing vocal hire
in the years that followed. She launching her artist career
with Blue Pearl, racking up a top 5 single "Naked In the Rain" and
subsequent hit's "Little Brother"
and "Can You Feel the Passion (Playing with Knives)". Both David
Gilmour and The late
keyboard legend Richard Wright joined her on the beautiful song
"Alive" from
her smash debut CD "Blue Pearl".

Lorelei continued recording performing state side with
"The Blue Zone" out
of Nashville, country great Mark Collie and numerious other artists
including the amazing remake of
"We Are Family" after 9/11. The
cavalcade of super stars was staggering, and Nile Rogers produced a gem
again! The video was directed by Spike Lee and documentary giant Danny
Schechter.
Lorelei continued pursuing her production and promotion career
out of New York City, which included singing, writing and A&R work for
Prelude Records, OHM Music & Film Works and most recently in promotion &
media management for
Soul Party NYC, presenting Classic R&B
events in Manhattan.
Song of the Lorelei Productions Inc. is Lorelei's company which began in
1986 followed by a production deal with Capitol Records.
Lorelei has continued to produce, sing,
and write for numerous,
CD, video, video game and production projects
during her absence from touring.
"Now that Miles is almost out of high school, I'm putting the focus
back on my singing, traveling and touring"
says Lorelei.
Coming back to touring life with Rod Stewart, one of my favorite singers
is truly AMAZING!!!
