NISSAN JINGLE DEMO

 

LORELEI MC BROOM received an email containing a unique concept; a Nissan promotion called "The Black Experience"

Warrior’s song "Let's Ride" (co-written by Paul Grant), inspired the conception of this commercial jingle demo for Nissan's SHIFT campaign, combining the text for "The Black Experience" with the music from Warrior's song. Lorelei McBroom performed the spoken word voice-over, wrote and sang the backing vocal hook and produced the jingle demo.

BUT OUR COURTESY IS NOT BOUND BY MEASURE. INVENTORS OF THE TRAFFIC LIGHT AND BRINGERS OF THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL HEART TRANSPLANT. WE ARE THE CHILDREN THAT PLAY IN THE FIRE HYDRANTS OF SUMMER. WE ARE THE ONES WHO PROTECT OUR SHORES AND LOVED ONES FROM SPOIL ON BEHALF OF PRESIDENTS. WE ARE THE BURDEN OF MOTHERHOOD AND THE DREAM OF FATHERS. WE'RE THE BRICK LAYERS THE MARCHERS THE DANCERS AND THE SCHOLARS ~ THE PREACHERS, THE TEACHERS AND THE DOERS.


Barney’s New York

Lorelei McBroom produced radio spots for Barney’s New York.  She worked with noted art director Marc Balet (INTERVIEW MAGAZINE, DETAILS MAGAZINE) on their print campaign with the agency's Neil Kraft. Today Mr. Kraft heads Barneys New York's internal advertising department. This was a wonderful opportunity for Ms. McBroom to learn various aspects of print, radio and television advertising.



PALMERS COCOA BUTTER FORMULA


Lorelei McBroom began her career as assistant account executive at New York's Epstein Raboy Advertising Agency. Working alongside agency co-founder Mitch "When E. F. Hutton Talks... people listen" Epstein, she wrote and co-produced music for the PalmerS Cocoa Butter formula product line. Her agency was responsible for Palmers cocoa butter formula signature "classic nude ad",  which displays a beautifully even skin tone, while tastefully covering a nude model within the design of the shot.
